International Cooperation Conference

The International Cooperation Conference was held in the Auditorium of the Museum of Natural Sciences. It was organized by the International Cooperation Agency  and the Science and Technology Department of the National University of La Plata. Representatives of the National Department of International Relations depending on the Ministry of Science and Technology of the Nation also attended the conference.
The purpose of such meeting, that took place this morning, was to inform the investigators and the scientific community in general about the content and scope of the different programs conducted by the National Department of International Relations, such entity being part of the national framework.
The conference was opened by Edgardo Nosetto, Secretary of Institutional Relations of the UNLP; Marcelo Caballé, Secretary of Science and Technology, and Mónica Silenzi, General Coordinator of the National Department of International Relations.
“Cooperation and Institutional Relations are of great importance. They are so specific that they demand full dedication so as to take advantage of all cooperation programs. Therefore, it is essential to achieve the coordination of Science and Technology, and Institutional Relations. The former gathers all the information related to investigators, and the latter analyzes cooperation potentialities and possibilities”, Caballé afirmed.
