The UNLP and China Cultural Week

Jointly organized by Instituto Confucio UNLP and the Embassy of the People's Republic of China, with the cooperation of the Municipality of La Plata y Fundación Pro Humanae Vitae, the “China Cultural Week” will be held from Tuesday to Sunday, April 29, at Centro Cultural Islas Malvinas (Av. 51 and 19) to mark the 40th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Argentina and China.
The event includes free access to an exhibition of photographs in connection to the anniversary, provided by the  Xinhua News Agency, in room A, and Chinese calligraphy, painting, language, singing and martial arts workshps, as well as a film season, and a series of conferences.
The opening ceremony shall be held next Tuesday, April 24, at 11.00 a.m. at Centro Cultural Islas Malvinas, room A. Authorities of UNLP, the Municipality, the Instituto Confucio of Universidad Nacional de La Plata and the Embassy of the People's Republic of China will be present. Then a documentary will be screened, and a conference about Tibet will be held by  experts on the topic.
