The General Secretary of the Intergovernmental Coordinating Committee of the Río de la Plata Basin Countries (CIC), José Luis Genta, visited the National University of La Plata last April, 17. He was accompanied by another member of the Committee of the Río de la Plata Basin Countries, Valeria Rodríguez Brando, and by Jorge Frangi, a researcher of the UNLP and Coordinator of the AUGM (Association of Universities of the Montevideo Group)’s Academic Committee on Environment. They were received by the Secretary of Institutional Relations and General Director of the International Cooperation Agency of the UNLP, Edgardo Nosetto, and by Patricia Arnera, Pro-Secretary of Institutional Connections and Transfer of Knowledge of the UNLP.
They held a meeting in which they talked about topics related to the VII Conferences on Environment of AUGM, which will be attended by the Intergovernmental Coordinating Committee of the Río de la Plata Basin Countries (CIC) next May. Other topics about cooperation with the UNLP and the AUGM were also discussed.
